Lynn Elsenhans

Lynn L. Elsenhans is a retired executive that serves on the boards of directors of Baker Hughes Company, GlaxoSmithKline plc, Saudi Aramco, and the Texas Medical Center.
Ms. Elsenhans started her career with Shell Oil Company in 1980 in the Houston headquarters. Subsequently, she held several positions of increasing responsibility in Houston, Singapore, and London, including President of Shell Oil Company and Executive Vice President of Global Manufacturing for Royal Dutch Shell. After retiring from Shell, she joined Sunoco Inc. as President and Chief Executive Office in 2008, adding the role of Chairman in 2009. She served Sunoco until the company was acquired in 2012.
Ms. Elsenhans graduated from Rice University in 1978 with a bachelor’s degree in applied mathematics and from Harvard University with a master’s degree in business administration in 1980. She lives in Houston with her husband John.
