Soil and water conservation in India
In India, we combatted desertification with an ambitious soil & water conservation project where more than 280 hectares were completed, resulting in 1,040 million liters of water storage and 8,450 tons of carbon dioxide equivalent emissions soil carbon sequestration.
Employee Volunteer Group Tree Planting
Across the world, our Baker Hughes teams hosted a native tree planting activity where we planted drought-tolerant, native species. From the prairies of Texas to Ghaf trees at the International Center for Biosaline Agriculture, we are committed to the communities in which we operate.
Singapore beach cleanup
Our team in Singapore organized a beach cleanup on Coney Island (Pulau Serangoon), removing 70 bags of marine trash from the park.
Baker Hughes and the Brunei Forestry Department
In Brunei, Baker Hughes and the Brunei Forestry Department planted 260 trees in the Sungai Liang Forest Reserve.
